(A fancy profile may or may not actually come some time in the eventual future, maybe.)

I'm just your average American teenage girl of European mutt descent from the East Coast. I went to public school until the end of eighth grade, at which point it was too stressful for me to handle any more, so I switched to a private school which I like much better. I'm currently in the twelfth grade a high school graduate getting ready to go to college in the fall a freshling rising sophomore at a rather large, mildly intimidating university.

My hobbies outside of school include watching anime, reading manga, reading and writing fanfiction, dabbling in fanart, playing World of Warcraft, writing computer programs in JAVA, playing the violin and harp, and, more recently I've been getting into roleplaying again. My current obsession is rabbits with wings. (No, not fairy wings. Actual bird-like angel wings. With feathers.)

In terms of roleplay on Livejournal, until their respective closures, I was involved in Econtra and Crucible. Currently, I'm (sort of half) active in the Yu-Gi-Oh Dressing Room, and am considering another game or two to app at. Please click here for a list of my roleplay journals, both current and previous. I try to keep it as updated as I can, though it's probably out of date anyway, haha...

What I write about in this journal is... well, whatever I feel like writing about, really. Most commonly, I'll make an observation about my real life experiences, or my roleplay experiences, though I sometimes will go off on a tangent about an anime. Common topics include my family (including extended), my previous high school, my current college, my pets, my roleplaying, my fanfiction, and stuff like that. I do tend to be long-winded, and have been known to make little sense.

I have taken one year of Japanese (and would be taking a second right now if my schedule had allowed it), and I have been known to attempt to write random phrases of it in my journal, mostly as practice. I usually include a translation afterwards of my (intended, at least) meaning, but if you're afraid of Japanese symbols... well, this probably isn't a journal you want to be reading. ^^;

All icons that I use, whether on my personal journal or on one of my various RP journals, are made by me unless otherwise noted. (But that's not saying much, because most of the time I'm just cropping pictures and maybe changing the saturation a tiny bit anyway.)

I now have a fanfic journal! I intend to post drafts there so that I can get opinions before I put up the final versions on Fanfiction.net. It's friends locked, but if you ask, even if you're a total stranger, I'll probably let you read it. If you're interested, it can be found at un_coeur_clair.
